Spreading the Word for Small Business Saturday

Spreading the Word for Small Business Saturday

Team Precision Innovation Group takes pride in our small business status, and we look forward to observing this on Nov. 30. That’s the official date of this year’s Small Business Saturday, the day set aside to encourage support of small businesses across the US. The event was started by American Express in 2010 and has taken place on the Saturday after Thanksgiving every year since.

It’s no fluke that this day takes place between Black Friday and Cyber Monday, two of the biggest shopping days of the year. While Precision Innovation Group is not a retail firm, we still appreciate that American Express wanted to show the small business community a little love during this make-or-break weekend – and we’re doing our part by spreading the word.

We’d like to do more too. Here’s a link to some free resources that can be used to promote Small Business Saturday. “Shop Small” and “Shop Local” images resonate with consumers, and posting these on a company’s Facebook, Instagram, and Instagram feeds will keep this day front-of-mind for target markets. We also thought the flyers and posters make a great impact as well.

If you’re a small business owner, we wish you the best of luck this holiday season – and if you’re a consumer, we encourage you to shop small and local. Check out our Precision Innovation Group Facebook feed to learn more about the power of small businesses.
